Asetek La Prima Direct Drive Wheelbase (12 Nm)

The La Prima Direct Drive Wheelbase is the smallest motor in Asetek's range, but far from entry level. A 12 Nm industrial servo, a 22-bit encoder and a slip ring tested beyond 200 million rotations give smooth, detailed force feedback with no cogging, and a Boost Kit takes it to 16 Nm.

KEY FEATURES

• 12 Nm peak and holding torque, held for up to 40 seconds continuously, upgradeable to 16 Nm with the La Prima Boost Kit.
• 22-bit encoder: about 4,000,000 steps per turn (0.000085°).
• No-play Asetek Quick Release: press a paddle and the wheel comes off. Power and data pass through it, with no batteries or wireless.
• Racing hub: up to 5 ports at the rear for Asetek pedals, wheels and peripherals.
• Flexible mounting: T-nuts in the bottom grooves let the base slide in your rig, plus optional table clamp, bottom, side and front mounts.
